My extended family (10 adults, 7 kids) stayed here for a week in December. Easy to walk to museums, restaurants, buses, subway, grocery stores, etc. Beds and layout of each apartment are different so ask to see a few rooms if you have a choice of apartments. We all stayed on second floor which had high ceilings. Apartments at front of building have large windows and lots of sunlight, but significant street noise (especially morning rush hour). Apartments at the back of the building have less sunlight but are very quiet. We stayed in 203, a one-bedroom with queen size bed and a fold-out sofa bed (queen size) in living room. Sofa bed mattress is very lumpy, although my 6 year old didn't mind. Apartment 202 was the largest 2-bedroom I saw. Master bedroom had king size bed (which could be broken into two twin beds) and its own bathroom with shower stall. Second bedroom had queen size bed. Second bathroom had tub-shower combo. Room 207 was a 2-bedroom with a king size bed. Second bedroom had a twin size bed in a room hardly larger than the bed itself. All kitchens are new and have regular sized appliances - refrigerator, separate freezer, sink, stove/range top, electric oven, microwave oven, electric tea kettle, toaster and dishwasher. There is a French press coffee maker, but not a drip coffee maker (like in the US) or Nespresso. There are plates, bowls, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Kitchen is definitely big enough to cook in - we cooked breakfast every morning. There is someone at the front desk of the hotel 24 hours a day. Front door is always locked and you get buzzed in. The neighborhood seemed very safe.
