Spent two nights here before Christmas with my husband. We loved the spacious room (we took a Junior Suite) - always a bonus in cities like London - my only complaint would be the bathroom, which was small and didn't live up to the standard of the room. Room service for breakfast was good, prompt and of a high standard. When we couldn't get a reservation at the fabulous Indian Restaurant around the corner called Rasoi for our second night, the Receptionist was successful - please go there if you can - the food is outstanding. Lastly, the location was perfect - so convenient for the shops. I would recommend this place and gladly stay there again; however, as we live in the country, and usually go to London for some hussle and bussle, I found San Domenico House too quiet .... which is the best compliment I can give the place because that is exactly why people stay there!

Where does one start when he enjoyed everything. The property is one of a kind in london. I have stayed in my fair share of hotels and I loved that property. The exquisite attention to detail was unrivaled. I loved the homey feel the room had to it. Location was super ideal and the service was impeccable.

We booked this hotel to stay in for our wedding night as the location was convenient and we loved the style of the hotel. However our stay was marred by the fact that despite booking almost a year in advance and confirming closer to the date the room we had specifically booked wasn't available when we turned up after the ceremony to get some professional photos taken. Unfortunately the photographs were dependent on this room so we never got our shots. A real disappointment on a near perfect day.

This little gem is situatd in the kensington/Chelsea Borough and has only 19 rooms. They are all differently styled but in a most chique and elegant way. The staff was very friendly. This hotel won the bet B&B 2008/2009 award and rightfully so. Many of the room interiors can be seen on the virtual tour on the hotel's website. The King's road is at 1 minute away with lots of café's and restaurants.Even the sloane square tube station is abt 2 min away. An ideal spot where we shall certainly return.
