Agree completely with 'Diane M' report - 'a perfect 10'. The staff were particularly attentive, which made our stay so enjoyable. Just a couple of examples from many: when shown our room Annie asked if we would like refreshments whilst we settled in, we said we would make a cup of tea in the room and within a couple of minutes fresh milk was delivered without asking. Annie followed up by telephone to ensure milk had arrived and that all was OK with the room. Esley was very friendly and helpful both in the lounge on arrival and at breakfast next day. Wonderful location, welcome, service and decor. Will certainly return.

No doubt, one of the best places to stay! Perfect location (just down the street from Harrods and the V & A, History, and Science museums), upscale, gorgeous neighborhood surrounding you, and most of all, a completely beautiful and very authentic British hotel that was 5 stars, all the way! Gorgeous furnishings, fabrics, everything spotless and beautifully done. The bar is so cozy that you can't help meeting and chatting with others that are there for Antonio's perfect martini! The afternoon tea was out of this world - delicious! The breakfast was everything you'd want and more. The service was delightful, accommodating, helpful, and always following up to ensure you had everything you needed. Quality restaurants are within walking distance as well. My husband and I have traveled extensively and always prefer smaller, boutique lodging. This one fit the bill exactly and far exceeded our expectations! We could't find anything to rate it less than a 10 and we consider ourselves very discerning customers!

The Hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived - we felt as though we'd known them for years. The Egerton is situated in a beautiful part of London very near Harrods in the heart of Knightsbridge, yet once inside the hotel you could be in a country retreat far away from the hussle and bussle of the big city. Our room was very comfortable, with everything we could wish for to make our stay memorable. A great selection was offered for breakfast - all was well presented and tasty. We will certainly go back again.

A girls weekend away with plenty if shopping and this is the perfect spot for proximity to harrods and the shops, without compromising proximity to restaurants... The rooms were a good size although the decor was busy making the seem smaller... Overall it was a lovely stay but make sure you load up your credit card before you go...at £18.50 for a martini, you'll feel the pinch ;-)
