I went with my wife and our best friend just for the Martini experience !!!
You can't book so you need to be crafty to get a table in the bar , on this occasion I am not telling how !!! As I have been unsuccessful many times before!!!
But when you do my goodness what a divine drink they will make for you at the table from a portable trolly , we all had the VESPER made famous by Ian Fleming just superb.

I've just returned from a lovely 7 night stay at Dukes and would definitely recommend the property. The service was universally excellent - reception, bellman, housekeeping, waitstaff, and barman were all friendly and helpful. The rooms have an understated, classic English style and there's good WifFi service that's included in the room price throughout the property. The location is perfect on a cul-de-sac so it's nice and quiet. Be sure you visit Dukes' cozy bar that serves perfect martinis.

Whatever your plan for the. Evening is start it with 2 Martinis from Alessandro in Dukes bar. Whatever you do afterwards will be perfect and make sure you return for a good night sleep in one of the spelndid rooms at the Dukes hotel.

We received a very warm welcome as a family of 4 with two young children and even upgraded to a stunning suite on the top floor so that the children would be more comfortable. Rooms were large and charmingly decorated in English style as were the bathrooms, there were even small age appropriate gifts for each child. Location is perfect as a London visitor with easy access to everything. Service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with some wonderful art on the walls and food was fresh and delicious. Hotel itself was excellent and we would love to stay again. Only downside was having to park around the corner at vast expense but I guess it is Central London so to be expected !
