My daughter and i loved our stay at Vancouver Studios in December. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The twin studio room was small but quite comfortable. (We were glad we had requested a room on one of the lower floors.) In the room there was a basket of coffee, tea, cocoa and biscuits, which was topped up daily. The kitchenette was tiny but had everything you might need -- dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pants, stove, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle that heated water faster than anything we've ever seen, washing-up liquid, sponge, dishtowel -- quite complete. In the lobby there were always chocolates and apples available. The parlor and courtyard were charming, and the neighborhood was very convenient to 2 different Underground lines, buses, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It was a perfect choice for our mother-daughter getaway.

We had a great trip to London, and staying at Vancouver Studios was a large part of feeling at home very quickly. Once we got over the 'smallness' of the sleep/kitchen area, we adapted very well. The bathroom/shower stall are beautifully renovated and the whole space was very, very clean. Beds very comfortable. Good bedding. Lovely view from window overlooking the courtyard below. Many a day we we would take our tea in the courtyard and find just ourselves out there, with a local cat to provide us the true English feel. Wonderful service, staff very friendly and helpful. Location perfect - 5 minute walk to many bus routes and 2 subway stations. Hyde park very close and perfect for morning walk. We stayed 9 nights and loved every moment. Would highly recommend and will stay there again next visit.

Stayed a week at a single room.

This is a nice victorian house turned into a hotel. There is also no elevator and the rooms are tiny. In all fairness anything within their control is excellent otherwise. The shower is perhaps the smallest I have seen even with european standards but they have gone out of their way to make sure the showerware is high-end: grohe...good temperature control and pressure. You know how rare that is in europe!

The room was also clean and was cleaned very well every day. Staff change every day but they are all nice.
Wifi speed was good and you are walking distance to Bayswater station and bayswater road which is lined up with restaurants and stores(Tesco and Boots included).

Just returned from London.Stayed at Vancouver Studios.Absolutely wonderfull Hotel. Spotless,near everything,great,friendly staff. I will definately return.
Own kitchen plus patio.Absolutely loved it.
Only 1 problem,I had to come home.
