I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights recently.It's undergoing refurbishment at the moment and this obviously causes a little inconvenience.However, the staff were very helpful and I had a lovely room, very clean and bright.
I paid £2 for the wifi but for some reason it didn't work properly but the guy on reception refunded my money with no quibbles at all.The breakfast is a continental one,lots of bread, cheese, jam tea, coffee, orange juice, corn flakes, all in all no less that you'd get in a 5 star hotel.All in all great value for money in a good location.

We booked base on the website info/photos - but what a big mistake!
Were forced to pay for our entire stay up front straight away - not the usual policy we would expect!?
Rooms were dirty and cramped, far too hot, A/C not working, bad fire exits (unsigned and narrow) and ladders and tools left in the hallways by workmen who were everywhere and creating dust and more dirt all around the hotel. Moody unhelpful staff.
Walls are paper thin and we had to listen to all the goings on of the rooms and floor around us at all hours of the night - which was not much fun.
Not only this but some of my personal items (clothing) went missing from my room...and was given no explanation by staff.
Terrible experience and I know these reviews often state "the worst place I have ever stayed" - but in this case I that is the reality of it. We will never return and would warn other not to stay here.

I booked a double room, and unfortunately paid 130 pounds up front. Had I seen the place first, I would never have stayed. The double bed was a camper bed, not even doublebed as I paid for. We probably wouldnt have slept anyway, as the window wasnt able to close, and the traffic was going outside all night. The steps on the hallway were down right dangerous. The breakfast was in a dungeon-style room in the basement, and you could help yourself to a boiled egg and a cup of instant coffee. The whole place was dirty and horrible. The reception was cramped with boxes and things and the hotel is just a joke. I can not believe that they are on this kind of price-level. What a shame.

really bad hotel, the worst I've ever stayed in in London. Would never recommend it to anyone.
