Quaint, old hotel, squeaky floors, warm hallways, hugely expensive, but...always great staff. Tubs we're built for folk 5 feet and under. Hugely expensive. Forget the restaurant, eat across the street for a great breakfast.

Overnight stay with breakfast. Very satisfied, comfortable and quiet throughout. Good service, friendly welcoming staff. Clean,efficiently run hotel. Food very good well cooked and presented. If ever considering a stay in cental London again I would not hesitate to return and also reccomend to others. This was our second stay at The Washington, the last was several years ago and their good standards have not fallen unlike other hotels elsewhere. Would have liked the shower/bathroom water to be hotter but this is a minor matter and just my taste that should not reflect on the overall quality of an excellent hotel

The hotel is well located, in the heart of Mayfair (convenient for business meetings). Rooms are clean and comfortable. One negative: I was unable to shut down the air conditioning, a bit noisy at night.

An excellent hotel so well placed for any London visit. Reception and concesage services first class. Room even at the less expensive end of the tarriff well appointed and comfortable . Bathroom also well equiped with the sort of power shower which is so good after a busy day.

Two points that let the hotel down a little. One there was no draught beer in the bar, such a shame. and secondly an excellent breakfast spoilt because the plates were cold and there is not much worse that a fried egg on a cold plate
