“Lovely Hotel”

This hotel was booked through a low cost website at the last minute, the only reason i stayed was the price i had secured as I would not pay the list prices. The hotel is not the easiest to find, the hotel sits on the corner along from the British Museum. However i was unable to locate the hotel despite walking along the side of it until I walked along the side with the door. Once at the hotel the service was first class. The room was good for a London hotel although the TV did not function the best.

Would recommend if you can get it at the right price but personally would not pay the full price.

“Great Hotel and Location”

I stayed in this hotel recently as I was in London on business. Although the room and bathroom were quite small compared to other hotels they were still adequate for my 2 night stay. When you are working away from home it is important that the hotel is right and I have no complaints about my stay here. The hotel staff are very pleasant and professional, I even received a call from reception to ask if everything was OK in the room etc... which I have never received at other hotels (which are much more expensive and luxurious!). The location is good and the hotel is easy to find and you dont have to walk very far from Tottenham Court Road Tube station - perfect for lone travellers. I have no issues regarding cleanliness and I thought the food (I had room service) was nice. Would definately stay here again on my next visit to London. Good value for money.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your pleasant and encouraging comments on this forum!

I am delighted that our hotel rooms which have been decorated in calming, neutral tones, accented by rich colours and fabrics were to your liking.

Set in a delightful area close to Covent Garden and surrounded by quiet Georgian squares, the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel is a perfect base for a shopping trip to Oxford Street, for catching a show at a West End theatre, or enjoying a cultural weekend exploring the museums and art galleries of London!

I trust to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our hotel on your next visit to London.

Sincerely,

Hasnain N. Alloo

“Old hotel charm”

i stayed in this hotel on the 2nd of feb for one night while attending an award ceremony at the Dorchester. I was staying with work colleagues and although was allocated a small room with a double bed it was more than adequate for me. i can imagine if you were a couple it would be too small however they do have larger rooms just ask. The hotel bar had a lovely atmosphere and the drinks were not too expensive. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I would stay here again

Room Tip: if you are a couple ask for a larger room

“Wedding Anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We chose to stay at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth after being given a theatre & dinner voucher as a gift. Since the Creations Restaurant within the hotel was our chosen venue for the meal, we thought the hotel looked really really nice & decided to book a night, especially as we were in London primarily to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the minute we walked into the lobby we were not disappointed. The staff are all very polite, helpful & attentive. Our room was upgraded in honour of our anniversary & the hotel laid on a couple of small gestures to acknowledge our special day...we were treated very well & made to feel special. The Creations bar has been recently renovated in bright jazzy colours, all very clean & modern. We were very pleased with our room, lovely decor, nice bathroom & toiletries, good size. The hotel is in a good location, nice area, in a reasonably quiet street close to Oxford Street. We would definitely stay here again.

“Disappointed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

This hotel is far from being a 4 star place. I’ll give it 3 stars TOPS!...

Negative:

The rooms are small, the smaller “double bed” I have ever seen, with old furniture and smelly bathroom (as some other guest have mentioned). The building inside could use a makeup.

Btw, 18 pounds for a continental breakfast?... INSANE!

Positive:

The staff is friendly... Excellent location… that’s why I’m giving it 2 stars review.

My company is starting doing business here in London, and this is one of the Hotel that we where testing to use it normally. My recommendation would be to try to avoid it.

I have been here for for 5 night, and still have 7 nights left… So let’s see how it ends.

Room Tip: Get a room from the inside of the building, stay away from the street.

Dear reviewer,

Thank you for staying at the Kenilworth Hotel and sharing your comments on this forum.

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed after your recent visit to us. I would like to assure all readers that whilst you will appreciate space in London is available at very high premium, we pride ourselves to offer a fair hotel room rates and minimum of 15 sq mts. space in every standard room. If this is not sufficient, guests are also welcome to take upgrades for a small nominal to our King Deluxe Room which have a minimum of 20sq mt space.

I trust this will allow readers to make a well informed decision.

Sincerely,
