“Excellent location, great hotel”

I stayed for just one night, but staying at Mercer Street Hotel was worth the extra pennies spent. I found the staff very polite, helpful and pleasant. Location is very good (3 min walk from Covent Garden tube station) and it's a very beautiful looking hotel, inside and outside.

I went for deluxe double, room was good size and bathroom was lovely if not a bit on a small side (they could have used up bit more of the room to have bigger bathroom IMHO!) View from the room was... well, none as such, just into the courtyard/roof, but that's expected from hotel in central location of a packed city.

I emailed few days before the stay requesting an early check-in fully knowing it's a request only thing and more often than not, it's not possible. But it never hurts to ask! And I had a polite reply saying as much, which was totally expected. Still, on the day I was delighted to find they did have a room prepared and we were able to check in early, so thank you for that!

Not sure I would or could afford to pay for more than one night's stay, but if there are any special deals at this hotel in future, I'm sure to book it.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the street - might be noisy but bit more interesting things to see other than wa...

“A great hotel in a great location”

I took my partner here for a birthday treat. We've stayed at a number of 5* and 4* hotels in London in the past. This was the best so far.

The staff were all excellent, the room was decorated in a modern style and the bed was so good we wanted to take it home!

Faultless; we'll be going back.

PS The only thing to watch out for is, that having been the Mountbatten Hotel in the past, there is little by way of clear signage. The hotel name “Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel" is a bit of a mouthful.

“Pleasant hotel, in an ideal location”

We stayed here a couple of nights during our long weekend break. It's ideally placed for the shops, restaurants, bars and theatres of Covent Garden. Just a short walk from the tube station, the hotel has been nicely refurbished, although our room was small. Excellent housekeeping (thanks Joyce for finding our 'missing' hairdryer). Courteous and obliging staff. We did not eat there but the alternatives locally are numerous, including breakfast. If you are arriving on foot as we were, and new to the hotel, there is no 'Radisson' sign on the building - just an indistinct 'Mercer Street hotel' above the entrance. It is a triangular corner property, typical of many in London, and it faces both Mercer Street and Monmouth Street. We walked straight past it first time around.

Room Tip: If you need a large room, check sizes before you book.

Stayed for 1 night celebrating a family birthday. Superb location, very friendly, helpful staff and service. Breakfast very good with lots of options. Only issue we had was the room temperature which took quite some time to warm up on arrival.
