“Home from home. Great place to stay.”

We have just stayed here again, which with so many amazing hotels to choose from in London I really do think is the mark of a place. It really does feel like home from home. It isn't glitzy; it is clean, comfortable, warm and relaxed, and a great base to work, rest & play from. The staff are polite and helpful. Complimentary drinks & afternoon tea a rare delight & parking outside is a bonus in such a prime area. There is no restaurant, but you are in London for goodness sake surrounded by fabulous restaurants, so get out there and explore. They do breakfast though, and complimentary tea & coffee all day too. If they can, they are very accommodating re late check-out, we really appreciated that. Next time we are working in town will book again. Love it!

Room Tip: Ironically both times we have been here we have stayed in the same room in the basement, it was grea...

“Very nice but overpriced”

The hotel is very nice, the location is great , the rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the staff are friendly and well meant. However the rooms are very small, the tiny elevator is a joke and there is no dining room or sitting room apart from a small area at the reception. Breakfast is served either there or preferably in the room but as they are very small the only place to leave the tray is on the bed which I find uncomfortable for eating.
I enjoyed my stay but I felt it was too expensive in spite of its great location.

“Would thoroughly recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is one block from Harrods. We stayed on a Sunday night and parked right outside the hotel for free. The staff were excellent and could not be more helpful. The hotel is spotless. The afternoon tea and complimentary drinks were great. We sat in the lounge area read the papers and sipped a nice glass of wine - very relaxing after a hard day's shopping. The only slight negative is our room was very small. I would say a single room with a double bed - only room for one bed side cabinet. However, bathroom was spacious and it had a separate wardrobe area - so I would not let the space issue put me off - but would probably ask for a bigger room next time. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely use again - many times I hope.

Room Tip: I would recommend booking something other than a standard double.

“The Perfect London Boutique Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I had wonderful stay at The Beaufort Hotel. Close to great Shopping, Harrods is on the doorstep, great restaurants in next road, and a Costa coffee a short walk. Its a lovely hotel with attention to detail, personal customer service, and complimentary drinks from 6-10pm. It was very popular before christmas with ladies 'popping to London for a spot of Christmas Shopping', wonderfully safe for women traveling on their own. Perfect. Can't wait until my next visit.

“Peaceful and Comfortable”

This is the 3rd year in succession that we have stayed here and we were not disappointed. The location is perfectly suited to us, close to Harrods and the Christmas buzz and also within a very short walk to Hyde Park. Hopefully we will be able to return next year.
