My wife and I (and our eight year old son) stayed for four nights in September 2011. The 'hotel' actually has suites rather than rooms and these are very spacious with kitchens. This was great for a family trip as restaurants were often busy. The continental breakfast which was included in our rate was very good and the fresh fruit in the evening was a nice touch too. The staff were efficient and quite friendly and were always asking if they could do anything for us and we appreciated the personal touch that so many bigger hotels lose. Durley House is very close to Sloane Square tube and a terrific location for exploring London. No grumbles really, we got what we expected and would return. Thanks Durley house!

The hotel is centrally located with great shops and sights in the immediate vicinity. At the hotel, one is undisturbed and can be private. Room service is impeccable and every time you left the room was cleared. Special requests we made at the time of booking was accommodated to the last detail, -which is great when you travel with kids. The breakfast we ordered the night before arrived on time and it was set up in our living room by a very pleasant member of staff, and next morning he was very concerned that we did not eat all off our breakfast the day before (breakfast are very large),and we where offered a substitute. The staff was friendly and service minded. The hotel makes reservations at restaurants, if one wants it. Defiantly one of the best places I have stayed in London. Will defiantly come back to stay at Durley House. Thank you very much Durley House team for a very wonderful stay.

Just imagine a 4* hotel without a water mixture in the bathroom ! 2 bedrooms with a single bathroom, a kitchen with old cabinets and sink, old furnature and priced for around 500 pounds a night ?? Good staff, however.

Please stay away from that hostel! Upon my check in I found that place very old and dirty! Was shown 3 different rooms. All were filthy, worn out, threadbare, an absolute slum rip off - Dirty carpets, smelly old furnitures, dirty bathrooms, broken lamp in the room, no portier! Just radicoulus for £600 a night!!!
The photos on the website are very missleading! I must say it is absolutely the worse experience I have had in many years of traveling. Avoid at any cost!
