The shaftesbury was excellent. Excellent location and excellent customer service. Only thing was the air conditioning unit took a while to start working. Other than that myself and my girlfriend had a very very good experience. Would definitely recommend.

I've given this hotel an average as generally everything about the hotel was ok, apart from one fundamental thing - the bed.

On arrival we were pleased to hear that we had been upgraded to a club room. We expected a small room given that we were staying in London, but we did end up banging into things accidently due to lack of space.

The room was clean and the facilities were good. When we went to bed we found that the quilt only just reached to the end of the bed and didn't overlap the sides meaning that it was impossible to cover two people resulting in no sleep and two grumpy people.

A comfortable bed is fundamental for a good nights sleep and a pleasant stay so on that basis I do not recommend this hotel.

Really nice hotel, Staff welcomed me efficiently soon as I arrived. I accidentally injured myself prior arriving and the staff looked after me. I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this hotel.

I checked in late in the evening, The lobby was very busy, however my chk in was smooth with the help of a Lady Manager,the room which i stayed in was very clean, the porter also was very welcoming. Sorry to say that the front desk reception staff "FRANCESCA" was least interested in serving the customers. Overall, A very good experience, would love to come again.
