We stayed at the Minc Cock Lane apartments in July for 6 nights. We stayed at these apartments and The Mansions in Earls Court (also for 6 nights) during our recent European holiday. We stayed at the Minc apartments (2 bedroom 2 bathroom) from a recommendation by our travel agent when our first choice of the Mansions was not available for both of our London stays. Having stayed at both apartments we did prefer the Mansions, but the Minc apartments were also very good. The apartment was very spacious and having separate bathroom and ensuite suited our family of 4 well.
The furniture and appliances appeared to be quite new and very clean. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed. Although the welcome packs were a bit short and some additional coffee, tea, loo paper and rubbish bags would have been good. The apartments was well serviced but a lift and the free wi-fi worked well for us. The apartment was a bit of a walk to the tube station (St Pauls) and on the central line east of the city which mean't that we nearly always had a long trip to visit the sites and nearly always had to change trains at least once. Earls Court was a much better location for seeing the sights. A Tesco supermarket was a couple of minutes walk which made self catering easy.
The self check in and out worked well for us and we didn't miss not having a reception. Overall a very good apartment and would stay there again.
