My stay at Clink 78 was rather bad, in fact I can't remember any other stay that was that bad:/ The area was fine and the hostel building quite nice but the hostel being huge didn't help I guess. Very small 6 person female dorm with hardly any space for the luggage, hardly any separation between the bunkbeds - they came in two block of three beds, one upper, the other lower.

The room was too warm with the heating on for no need, we tried to keep the window open at night but had to use the dustbin in order to have it stay open...

Few showers working so long queue for the ones that were actually working... Just not my type of hostel at all... so big and noisy (school groups)... Some people might like it but for sure I didn't :/

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback!

I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay here with us. In regards to the maintenance issues, we have a 24 hour reception team always feel free to come down and let us know if there is anything you need help with!

The heating is on during peak times in the winter but there is an adjustable temperature control on each radiator if you do not wish to have it on.

Hopefully we can change your mind and welcome you back again in the future! We also have a smaller hostel, only 5 minutes away, Clink261.

The hostel is located in a good place with good access to public transportations. The main problem is the staff totally unfriendly and unpatient.

The price is good and the room acceptably clean even if really small.

“excellent value for money”

I had an overnight stay in a 4 bed room with ensuite. The room was clean, the bed clean, the unknown room-mates never seen, just heard when they returned from their night revelries and showed respect for the Sleeping Unknown Person. Clean bathroom. Warm room, slight road traffic noise. Breakfast in the basement adequate and copious. Efficient, professional staff. Will certainly return. Recommend any family on a budget to stay in this central position with lots of small restaurants around, even a nailbar/massage salon (15GBP for impeccable nails) nearby. Can walk there from King's Cross.

“Been to better, Unfortunately i was there when London was experiencing +30degree heatwave and you couldnt sleep”

Not the best, but ok for london. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Hot stuffy rooms, lockers are tiny and no room whatsoever for luggage. One or two nights is enough.

“Excellent customer care”

Unfortunately we DID NOT STAY by Clink78 because we were looking for a double bed room and they could offer us only bunk beds.
Anyway I would like to say that the staff is really kind in giving you information via e-mail. They always reply prompltly and if you have any problem / question they are happy to answer.
