“Great location, big modern room”

We thought this hotel was in a great location, and had a brilliant view of St Pancras. A few people have conplained about the noise but we were on the 6th floor and other than a few sirens it was fine.

The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed (i slept like a log). There is a good espresso machine and fresh milk but no mini bar (we didn't care). There is an extra pull out bed like a chaise that we could watch tv from. The one thing we weren't sure about was the glass door on the bathroom, although it looked nice when empty, I don't want see my husband in there! Air con took a while to kick in too but after 10mins was fine.

We booked this room through LateRooms for £120 a week before our trip. If we had only waited a few days longer, the price fell to £75!

“Perfect hotel 5min away from the station”

this is a cozy little hotel near Pancras and kings cross station in London 5min walk
The entrance is a big wooden door on your right(beginning of the street) just after the barclays Bank.
You might miss it cause the sign is fixed on the wall and not hanging out.
Litlle lobby with massive black velvet chairs very nice receptionists.
The room was big enough (N°411) : comfortable bed, closet with hangers and drawers, safe, free wifi desk and chair, air dryer, flat screen and carpetted floor.
Bathroom in wood and plexy glass very good looking nice shower with massage sprays or long bath; sinka and toilet clean towels
Expressomachine in closet (was not working well) and fridge with free water(bottled in hotel flat and dparkling)
Continental breakfast in the room for 2 is about 24£ but very nice, fresh juice, coffe, croissant cheese, ham fruit and porridge
check out is at 11 but they only charge 20£ extra as from 12o clock or a phone call
There's restaurant but we didnt try it.
Nearest tube entrance 2 minutes away (just around the corner)
Smokers will have to leave the building to have a puff ;-)
We asked a room upper level and not on the street side very quite
recommanded
PS breakfast in the room starts at 7 except sunday at 8

Room Tip: ask inside room or side street and upper level for a quite room

“excellent hotel”

we stayed in the hotel megaro for a night on the 3rd feb 2012 before travelling on the eurostar, the hotel is right across the road from kingscross and st pancras which is very handy. The hotel is cosy and the staff are extremely helpful and very nice. we were upgraded to room 507 which is a suit and it was fantastic and had a lovely view of st pancras. The bathroom was a very good size and it was warm. There was a coffee maker , a fridge and a hair dyer in the room. I would recommend to anyone staying in london for the eurostar or otherwise to stay at this hotel as kingscross is outside your door and takes you everywhere in the city

Excellent location for st Pancras, King's place, and the area. Small but comfy room. Breakfast was excellent: great choice, fresh real bread, perfect omelette and coffee, and a proper (250 ml) glass of orange juice. Cheerful service.

“A Real Gem”

Megaro is a rare find in London. I arrived at the hotel before 9am having flown overnight from Australia to a warm and friendly welcome. Before having a chance to finish breakfast a room had been made available for which I was extremely grateful. The room was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and strong-something quite novel in the UK. I was in a room on the 3rd floor overlooking Euston Rd and the noise was not an issue at all.The location across the road from St Pancras was incredibly handy given I had an early Eurostar train to catch the next morning. it is also a very handy location for Central London given the tube options at your doorstep. Megaro offers amazing value and I am delighted to have already booked for two nights on my way home
