we stayed here on a Friday night. We got an offer for £89 for an executive suite.
We took dad for lunch and ordered sandwiches and asked them to not put on tomatoes. The sandwiches came covered in tomato...so I did not eat them but dad and husband did.The chips that came with them were awful !
We went to our room which was right by a vent or a generator and we asked for a swap as we could not have slept . There was no problem with that room but we could still hear it but not so bad.
The room was really lovely and the bed was so comfortable and the pillows just right .
There was plenty of tea and coffee and little biscuits and bottles of water .
The bathroom has his and hers sinks and a jacuzzi bath. There were those lovely little bottles of shampoo etc instead of a bottle stuck to the wall which I hate.
The room was done out in an art deco style and was really lovely.
Because we had paid for an executive room we could go to the executive lounge between 5 and seven for complimentary canapes and a drink. We had some little nibbles of pork , chocolate cake .There was plenty of cheese but no crackers . I had two glasses of a lovely wine and my husband had some beers. Alby was the guy in attendance and he was very pleasant and helpful .He is also the concierge in the day and worked in the lounge at night.
The hotel is beautiful and I would stay there again . The staff are friendly and very helpful.
