Nice accommodation but a little tight if staying more than a single night. Staff a very pleasant and accommodating. Very clean and tidy but you may want to turn heating off on arrival.

I found it difficult to find a hotel in Liverpool who could cater for 5 persons in one room or suite. Found this on the web and booked it on the basis of 4 star rating and room example shown. It is located in a run down area but is convenient to the Airport and Anfield Stadium. You can get a bus into town but we got Taxis as it was a cheap with 5 and safer than standing at the bus stop. The room was a disappointment. To say it was cramped for 5 with teenagers is a understatement.You could not even open the door of one bedroom without moving the bed first.

The room was clean enough with good heating controlled by your own gas boiler. The shower pressure was very poor again a big negative with 3 women trying to wash there hair. The second night we stayed a large group of young teenage couples where staying in the adjacent rooms and there was no sleep to be had from 3am to 5am upon there return. There antics could be a little intimidating to some such as knocking on doors and ringing your intercom.

On the positive side the breakfast buffet was first rate and was a big hit with my hungry teenagers. The bar was handy at night for use upon your return. My son and I did stay for a extra night in a double room to see a match and this room was excellent in the newer part of the hotel. I would use again only if my finances dictated.

We booked this hotel last minute, and thought that it looked good from the photos. We had picked the hotel as there was parking available, however, we wished we had gone to another hotel and paid for parking. The hotel is located in a run down area, and is definitely not to the standard of other 4* hotels we've stayed in. The room and bathroom were compact, and cheaply furnished. The roof had clearly been leaking, as there was water damage on the wall, and the room was damp. We even found traces of blood on the bed sheets. The breakfast was equally disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for, as the rate for the room was extermley low. Overall, we were very disappointed with this hotel, as it was sold as an 'executive' hotel. We felt a 2/3* rating would be more appropriate - on this basis, we wouldn't have considered this hotel. On the postive side, the staff were friendly, and the hotel is closely located to the city centre.

Stayed last night, picked as convenient for going to Liverpool match as you can leave your car at the hotel. It is a 5 minute taxi ride from Anfield (cost £3 !) and walkable in about 25 minutes.
Staff extremely pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome. Rooms excellent value. This is an old building so has great atmosphere, but dont expect floors to be level !
Room extremely clean, modern furnishings and lovely white bedding. Only down side, bed was a "sleigh bed" type and our feet kept banging on bottom ! If you're tall ask for a king size bed or at least a double without a bottom board.
Breakfast was excellent, much better than more expensive hotels we've stayed in.
This is the fifth hotel we stayed in when travelling to watch Liverpool matches. Will definitely stay here again.
