Have recently come back from this lovely little hotel. We arrived a little early but were soon let in by the owner who was very friendly and gave us a drink on the house while registering. The decoration in the Buddah bar was superb and my questions about the paintings were answered in detail. On the way upstairs to the room all the landings were beautifully dressed with candles( which were lit in the evening when we came down for dinner) and orchids and more paintings and eastern ornaments.
We stayed in the Gold room which was comfortable but the bed squeaked a lot if you moved around on it.A jacuzzi bath and stylish basin with luxury toiletries.
The coffee in the room not instant and a choice of ordinary or herbal tea and fresh milk. Also water and little chocolates.
A small flat screened TV ( a cd player would have been nice)
Dinner later in the evening was superb and good value for money.
This hotel is a little oasis on a very ordinary street!
Ps if you come by train you can walk fro the station through the shopping centre and over the bridge.
