My wife and I were hoping to spend a 4 night stay in Lincoln, but due to the prices of our regular hotel could not afford the 4th night so decided to make an introduvtory stop at this frankly charming hotel. The owner was an awesomely friendly chap and really attended to us. The room was superbly decorated in a contemporary fashion with lovely warm colours. Then we saw THE BATH ... free standing, and HUGE! Lets say we spent most of the early evening in that! We then popped out into town for a few beers prior to a fairly good meal in the Buddha restaurant ... tho the rice for my meal seemed to have been microwaved which didn't please me immensely. All the same it was a reasonable price in comparison to Lincoln's restaurants overall. After that we spent some time in the excellently swanky guests lounge, complete with unfeasibly large sofa and watched the Johnny Cash bio "Walk The Line" from the extensive DVD collection. Altogether a lovely stay which may have not met the standards of the hotel we stayed at for the next 3 nights, but was certainly a great first night.
