It was the first time we have stayed at this hotel, but will not be the last. The location is great, only a short walk in to the city centre. The rooms are clean and modern in décor. Great service from the staff. The standard express breakfast was fine to start the day but can get a little hectic if all the guests decide to come down together. The only negative thing I will say is that you have to pay £5 to park your car but the staff will let you leave it there all day if you are visiting the city, so not really bad value.

This is my 6th stay at this hotel since it's first opening and it is still outstanding both Service level of staff, Professional and took very good care with out specific requests which was to keep my two room booking next to each other. Also, for night revelers, this is a good place to have as a base because you save a lot of hassle with getting taxi's and places to eat are very close by from McDonalds to restaurants. It's other Holiday inn is just a 5 min walk where there are loads of restaurants to choose from. The family rooms are extremely spacious which is what I had requested for three adults. Very accessible aswell by road from the outer circle.

Have stayed in this hotel previously and enjoyed our visit so decided to stay here again. We weren't disappointed.
The hotel is situated just outside Lincoln city centre about ten minutes walk to the main shopping area. Although it's next to a busy road, this isn't a problem as the rooms are well sound-proofed and in any case there isn't much traffic after the evening rush hour which is when most people are in their rooms. It's location gives easy access by road from both north and south.
Staff are very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is fine, with a choice of hot and cold buffet items.
All in all good value.
The only minor (very minor) gripe is the £4 per night parking charge. I'd prefer it simply to be added to the nightly tariff as this would still represent good value.

I stayed here on business for around 200 nights spread over about 2 years. This is a modern, clean hotel where everything works - especially the staff who are extremely helpful and friendly. I've stayed in numerous budget-end hotels and this is by far the best. I've stayed in a top price Lincoln hotel (no names!) with a room rate 3 times the HIE and it was no match - seriously ! If I have to search for a comment it would be that the food options in the evening are not good and are poor value - however, there are plenty of decent and budget eateries very nearby.
