“Fantastic Palatine Court Holiday Flats!!!”

I have just arrived back from a break at Palatine Court Holiday Flats in Blackpool and have to say it was the best ever accommodation I have ever stayed in whilst in the town. I regularly stay in Blackpool (about 6 times per year) and have stayed in many hotels but nothing else has ever impressed me so much as Palatine Court.

The flat was lovely - spacious, well decorated and homely. It comprised of 3 rooms, a living room with kitchenette and dining area, the bathroom and the bedroom. The whole building was spotless and the flat looked like it had never been stayed in before, it was that clean!

The kitchen had everything someone in self-catering accommodation would require and the fridge even had a little freezer compartment, perfect if you don't want to have to visit the supermarket every few days! Crockery was provided, as were corkscrews, pizza cutters, spatulas...everything!!!

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom on the whole was very nice with tons of storage space. To my utter delight, there was a hairdryer provided which was excellent as I couldn't fit mine in my case! They also provided ironing facilities. The freeview box was perfect as there were so many channels, including about 10 radio stations, and it was nice to relax to in the evening.

The area - the flats are located centrally but in a quiet neighbourhood. It is just 3 minute walk to the hub of the town - the tower, coral island etc. It's about a 25 minute walk to the Blackpool North rail station and just a short bus ride to the South railway station but the North seems more popular. The area is safe and is half holiday accommodation and half residential. At the bottom of the road there are many shops including takeaways, mini-markets, a post office, restaurants and a bank, so location is ideal.

The proprietors, May and Dave are lovely and so helpful. They really can't do enough and they're obviously running a fantastic holiday home.
