We stopped in room 7 for 1 night. Room was clean and well stocked. Shower didn't run hot though :-s
Chef was very friendly and helpful and made a good breakfast...and there was lots to choose frm and lots to eat! :-).
Was good for the price and in a great location -very close to the prom, pleasure beach and shops.
Would stay again :-)

The landlady of this small hotel is lovely, always has a smile on her face and happy to help whenever, nothing seems too much trouble for her. We took our 2 teenagers and they have not yet stopped smiling, the hotel is a great location and easy to find , therefore we were able to let the boys go places on their own because we knew how easy it was to find the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the bar was always warm and welcoming after braving the good old british weather for the day. A nice breakfast every morning set us up for the day, a relaxing drink and a game of pool at the end of a busy day, what more could we ask for. Mr and Mrs Bickley Staffordshire

We stayed at the Lyndhurst for three nights and found it to be a clean and friendly place to base a trip to Blackpool.

Being quite cheap I thought it may be lacking in quality but it lived up to all I require from a guest house.

The room was clean and gradually all the rooms will be upgraded even further. Thought mine was already done but it was the old style. Good to see investment being made to keep it up to date.

It was booked before I read the horrific review on tripadvisor and was apprehensive about what we would find when we got there but it was nothing like the review we were relieved to find.

Jean, the landlady makes you feel like you are old friends staying with her. The full English breakfast was generous.

Would book again if ever in Blackpool again.

Having visted the Lyndhurst hotel on more than one occasion i was simply horrified to read the earlier review.

My experiences here have been more than excellent - the breakfast is varied, fresh and there is always the option to have more if required - many racks of toast have been eaten! The landlady has exceptional customer service skills and is always more than willing to help.

However after reading the reviews for the nearby hotels i now see that our friend ashness8 has an exceptional skill - has the ability to stay in 2 places at the same time.....ummm i hear you question the motive... however how amazing would it be .....

On a serious note, if you want a fun, relaxed welcoming break this is the hotel for you, and i promise you, you will not be disappointed.
