After a long drive we were greated in a warm friendly manner, which made us feel welcome as a family. Michael was nice enough to tell us about the secur parking.
Michael showed us to are room that was okay! (nothing like the pictures though, although there were vacant rooms, as just only two elderly women were staying also).
as the weather change horribly and was cold, I ask michael if the heating could be turned on as iam Anaemic. Michael was kind enough to do so, over our three night stay the weather stay cold and wet, and so did Michael, he chased my children husband and I, out the rooms for cleaning the rooms 10am, even though we could have done it ourselves, changing the little bins. Then putting on the heater became a problem although its advertised on the Westfield lodge site! cut backs we were told, but iam anaemic an get cold quickly!

We pre booked on the internet after reading the reviews and were over the moon with our choice . Stopped at the westfield for two nights and upon arrival the whole family were made very welcome . Then we were shown around the facillities of the hotel and our room which was a family room for 4 of us . The room was very clean and fresh and had excellent facillities for the price , but what really made our stay special was the friendliness of the owners Micheal and Joyce , and also must mention the attention to detail and service at breakfast was excellent as well and made to order for the two kids who unusually cleared their plates ! , lovelly visit and would definatley use again or recommend others to visit , thanks steve logan and family.

We went to Blackpool with other members of our family, there were 5 adults & 3 girls aged 12,14 & 16.We were met at the door of the hotel by Joyce & Michael who were very friendly. They made us feel very welcome straight away and after unloading our luggage directed us to the secure parking. (When we booked the hotel we did not see anywhere on the instructions that you were meant to book your parking place in advance and that it would cost £8.50, this did not cause a problem but it would have been good to know beforehand). We had a family room & 2 doubles all were comfortable and clean with good showers in the en-suites. The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it.
The hotel was within walking distance of the Pleasure beach, Ripleys & the South Pier. The tram stop was at the end of the road to get to Tussauds and the Tower although it is also within reasonable walking distance. Houndshill shopping centre behind the Tower is also worth a visit.
We would recommend JKs Steakhouse in Birley Street to get great food, cooked to order and with great service from friendly waiting staff.
We all enjoyed our 2day visit to Blackpool & it was made all the more enjoyable by the friendly relaxed atmosphere at the Westfield Hotel.

never met such a rude and obnoxious woman in my life, it was that bad we asked for our money back and went elsewhere, i would advise anyone going to blackpool to avoid this place like the plague.!!!!!!!!!
