We had the most enjoyable time at the new kimberly the food was delightffull the lift even worked. There was a lovely smell in the dining area it smelt very nice.. Pete the manager was very helpfull.

we have just got back from a hen weekend in blackpool, we were booked into the kimberley hotel.my daughter and i were the first to arrive well the outside of the hotel was awful and i can assure you it got no better when we got inside,so i booked my daughter and i into another hotel i then rang the girls to inform them what i had done. when the girls arrived they went to the hotel to find it locked so they spoke to the landlady of the hotel next door who rang the kimberley and was told that they would open up and let them in they waited 10 mins(they had already decided that they were not staying there if they could find another hotel)nobody opened up the hotel so the girls booked in at the hotel next door which was very pleasant and clean.I sat outside waiting for the girls to come down from there rooms the man from the kimberley turned up in a van and when he realised that he had lost 13 guests he stood in the middle of the road and shouted obcenities at me.

Just spent an amazing weekend at this hotel. Yes it is a bit on the basic side, if you want 5 star qualities then go ahead stay somewhere else and pay the price for it. The entertainment was great, we even got invited to join a wedding reception which was great fun. All the staff are great - even down to being let back into the hotel at 4 in the morning after going into town. All meals were really nice, no dirty cutlery, plates etc. We all know why people slag off this hotel.......don't we? Overall a brilliant weekend........just don't believe everything you read.

Was really worried after reading some truly awful reviews. But found it absolutely fine, albeit basic, but all I wanted for just couple nights B&B. Had no problems whatsoever, room was OK, nice seaview and illuminations. Breakfast was good. No bar, but then I didn't go to Blackpool to sit in the hotel bar anyway.
