After hearing a good review from a friend we arranged to stay at The Seacroft for one night on a recent weekend in Blackpool. The booking was made easily over the telephone and the room rate was very reasonable at £30pp for the double. We arrived to a well maintained and clean B&B with a very warm welcome from Tim (one of the owners). The room we were given was very spacious and had amenities you wouldn't usually find in a standard B&B room (fridge, iron and ironing board, trouser press, full size wardrobe). The bed was kingsize and very comfortable. The ensuite was immaculately clean and bright and the towels in the room were good quality bath sheets (all adds to the positive experience in my book!).
We enjoyed the continental breakfast which was more than sufficient and both Tim and Tim were excellent hosts. The only thing I would comment on for improvement would be the shower - the pressure was very low and it was more like a trickle than a shower. However I don't think this detracted from the overall experience, which was a very positive one. The place is very central to the gay area and is nearby to lots of bars and restaurants and is one street back from the famous Funny Girls.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay. Personally it ranks the highest of all the B&Bs I have stayed at in Blackpool.
