I booked a room at the malrow hotel in blackpool. though i never stayed at the hotel i had first class experiance of the lack of customer service skills. After sending my deposit i was unable to contact the hotel and they made no effort to contack me. After weeks with no confirmation of my booking i desided to book another hotel. I then rang to cancel my reservation at this point i was told in no uncertain terms they would not be refunding my £40 deposit. Not only had i lost my deposit i did not even recive a appology. What suprised me the most was the conversation ended with the lady owner swaring and slaming the phone down. Needless to say i was relived i had the foursight to book another hotel
