Me and 6 girls stopped in the New Balmoral for one night for an 18th birthday and loved it! Fair enough it wasnt the hilton but we wernt expecting anything amazing. Extremely friendly service and not too hard to find either. We had the whole top floor to ourselves with 3 seperate bedrooms. Overall the place was quite clean and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast in the morning was lovely! Too bad I hoyed it all back up on the way home (due to too much alcohol the night before!!) We would definatley go back and stay there, it was extremely cheap and the service was great!

“Thank you”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2007

I stayed at the new balmoral in april 2007 for 5 nights i was met at the door by Clare the lady who owns it, with a smile and a warm welcome, was made a cup of tea (which i was in great need of after travelling) and a friendly chat then i was showed to my room. i really enjoyed my stay i felt relaxed as if i had known Clare all my life. there was nothing i could not have asked from her i am really shocked to have read the review from the party of 9 who stayed only one night and i have to ask myself if they behaved themselves and was it sour grapes that made them write the review? anyway if your going to blackpool and thinking of staying at the new balmoral please do not let this put you off go and see for yourself how friendly it is. the rooms are clean fresh towels and bedding and a lovely breakfast. i know if i ever go back to blackpool i will be staying there again.
Thank you Clare
Julia

“Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 May 2007

New Balmoral offers basic accommodation equivalent to most of the B&Bs in the area. It is very accessible within walking distance of the pleasure beach and close to Blackpools nighclub 'the Syndicate'. If you are looking for shopping this is also within easy reach of the B&B.
Norman and Clare run the establishment and welcome you like family. Rooms are good size and are clean with tea/coffee making facilities and pay as you watch TVs.
Shower rooms include the lavatory and are quite large. My husband and I stayed for 4 days in February and although the weather was cold the B&B more than made up for that. The bar facilities and reception area is cosy and relaxing. We also met some regular guests who had been coming for a number of years due to the great family atmosphere.
Ifyou are looking for somewhere to rest your head while you hit the sights and shops of Blackpool you would do well to stay here.
We would definately be back next year.

“My woderful stay in Blackpool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 May 2007

I was so very shocked to read a review about the above hotel.
I and my friends and also my wife, have been going there now for six or more years and we have all always found it to be very clean and friendly,in fact i would say more than friendly for we were always treated just like family.
The food is always excellent and plentiful,i have recommended it to everyone i meet and will continue to do so for as long as possible,i will say this, if anyone reads this review and are going to Blackpool, the only place to stay is the New Balmoral Hotel in regent road on the north side.
Due to the hoteliers, ihave met loads of people all over the Country and built up a great deal of new friendships with all of them, for this i thank Clare and Norman.
{KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK}
