The Chadsley Hotel is cheap (£72 for two people, two nights in a double) which is great if you're on a tight budget. However the interior is very tired, the rooms we saw (about 3) were very small and the shared bathrooms not very clean. (The toilet came with complimentary pubes round the rim!)
On the plus side the manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were really tasty. The location is reasonable; about 10 mins walk from Central Pier on the Promenade.
On balance, if I was to return to Blackpool, I'd spend a bit more and stop at a better hotel with an en-suite.

At the time of this review the hotel had no ensuite and shared facilities were in use as cleaning of these bathrooms can only be done after the morning use, other members of the party who were here for a wedding at the De Vere Hotel also used the bathrooms. Bathrooms of a shared facility once cleaned are only as clean as the last person who used them. The hotel was closed throughout 2009 while a major modernisation took place and all rooms are now ensuited and larger. Family rooms have large ensuite with double showers.Hope this is now the way forward for the Chadsley Hotel. Lets hope the hotel gets all the rewards for the effort it has put in to bring it into the 21st century
