Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Avante in Blackpool, Its close to everything you could possibly ask for in a hotel... My kids enjoyed their stay as much as we did. The staff were very helpful, Alan and Julie I found out were the new owners were friendly and pointed us in the right directions with entertainment. Breakfast was lovely. Kristian the barman was great fun witty and again very helpful.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a break in Blackpool, rooms were great sizes, well kept and the bar is great fun and kept open late :)

stayed here mid June 2009 for 7 nights after a mate of mine stayed there last month, he wasn't wrong when he said "it's bang in the centre of everything!" really nice helpful staff, esp Christian the night porter/bar tender, he's a great guy and wacky as...
The night life is awesome with all the clubs, pubs, theatre's and restaurant's literally on your door step. During the day there is loads to do with the town centre over the road , arcades and shows galore, oh and the Tower is just round the corner as well.

I will keep this simple stayed for two nights, moved room three times and although the rooms got cleaner you would not want to stay any longer than you had to. All rooms were very dated and dirty bathrooms tiny and dirty. all in all stay away!!!!!!!!!

HI there everyone, just thought id tell you about my BEST holiday in years. have been coming to blackpool for few years now, the hotel i normaly stay at was sold last year so thought id find new place to stay. HORRAY i found the best place on earth.Was made to feel welcome as soon as i stepped over the door. the old lady on reception carol was so helpfull with everything. Went to my room was happy as larry. night time came and wanted a drink before i hit the town WELL what can i say the barman christian later found out he was manager had me in stiches was cracking the jokes with me and others in bar it felt great he made us all feel very welcome and i decided id go out for an hour then get back to hotel bar. When got back was few in bar and christian kept it open late and was chatting with everyone and made them feel welcome. It was a pleasure to have such a nice guy serve you other than the normal were you just a number, well not at HOTEL AVANTE your a person and made to feel welcome. When i was leaving i enquired about rebooking and was sorted out straight away and i decided id come back in october this year as everything was great. only made breakfast once 1st class. room top class and staff nothing was to much trouble for them. All i can say is im glad i booked there in the first place and shows how impressed i was to rebook for this year again
