We stayed 3 nights in Room 8, an adjoining family room with our 15 year old twin boys

The main room had a double bed, plenty of storage, TV & tea making facilities & enough floor space to dump your cases if, like us, you can’t be bothered to unpack! The shower cubicle, sink & separate toilet are at one end of this room. The adjoining room had twin beds, own sink & was separated from main room by an unlocked door. This room was perfect with teenagers; it offered us privacy from each other as well as the opportunity to be together, the free WIFI access to rooms was an added bonus with teenagers!

We wanted reasonably priced clean accommodation that wasn’t in the thick of the nightlife but was within walking distance of the seafront & major attractions…this place exceeded all of our expectations. Cleanliness of rooms, linen, towels & rest of hotel was 2nd to none (it was so good we tried to catch Vicky out & do the “top of the door test” but got barely a speck of dust!!). It was a 10/15 min, almost level, stroll to central pier/tower area so ideal location in our opinion, not in the thick of it but not too far away – the photos online are representative but don’t do the place justice, it better in real life

Vicky is hospitality personified – friendly but not overbearing, helpful & attentive but chilled enough to just let you ‘get on with it’, she even watches Jeremy Kyle to relax!!! (Doesn’t everyone?!). We probably won’t visit Blackpool again for some time but if we did we’d stay here again without hesitation – fancy the luxury double next time!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights from 17th to 20th October 2011. Although the weather was terrible the same cannot be said for The Fylde. It was 'home from home'. Rooms were very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, a great start to the day. But the best bit was the friendliness, hospitality was second to none. We would certainly stay there again if we ever return to Blackpool and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

The Hotel Was Lovely, Ver Clean, Modern & Homely!!! The Room Was Beautiful :) Really Comfy Kingsize Bed & Was VERY Clean & I Am Abit Of A Clean Freak Lol !!! Plus Its In A Great Location.. Away From The Noise But Near Enough To Everythin...
After Stayin Here This Is The Only Place I Will Now Stay In Blackpool !!!!!

We are a young couple who were looking for a few days away with a nice comfortable place to stay, the fylde was the place for excatly this.
On our arrival we were met by Vicky and her mum who were very friendly and made us feel very welcome straight away. We were shown upstairs to our room by the mother and were told that the room was small, which it was but it was a nice comfortable size for the two of us.
Everywhere was extremely clean and fresh, also modern :)
Breakfast was lovely, great portion sizes and quick service aswell.
The only point that wasnt too great was clean towels were not put in our room however we did notice a londry room which was always open with them in (not sure if this was a help yourself sort of thing)
I cant understand why the fathers recieved bad reviews as he was lovely and friendly.
All and all our stay here was fantastic, friendly and clean. We would strongly recomend and would certainly return :)
