“Best hotel in Blackpool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Booking direct we got the best deal, owners were fabulous, food was excellent, the breakfasts were cooked to perfection and healthy! Absolutely spotless rooms and couldn't believe it when we returned to our room after breakfast and it had been done already. Paul and Richard were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our short break a one to remember. We had two young children and two disabled adults with us and they recommended a fantastic restaurant which met all our needs. Bar was very nice and waiting areas with pool table and tv. Rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable and warm, welcome after such a long day at the pleasure beach. Really can't fault it, will be booking this one from now on whenever we come back.

Wow, best hotel in Blackpool, that’s a statement if ever there was one. We do our best to make it the best and as you know, we make time to get to know, chat and spend time with guests to help with information, recommend restaurants and pass on our knowledge about the attractions and places to go and things to see. Blackpool has so much to offer and with our inside information there is no chance that our guests make any mistakes choosing restaurants etc.
Well, I hope we do see your return in the summer and as you said, call direct to take advantage of our reasonable prices, but our web site also have great deals too.
Take care and see you in the summer we hope.

“Another wonderful, relaxing and warm welcome to the Corona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

I've now stopped counting the number of visits we have had as a family to the Corona. It simply just gets better and better and Richard and Paul cannot do enough to make your break the best it can be. Small simple things make such a difference. I have reviewed hotels in the past but never felt compelled to repeat, apart from the Corona. Really easy choice - if you've never been to Blackpool and fancy it, stay here and I bet you won't stay anywhere else again! An absolute gem of a hotel!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us once again. We feel so proud to have such wonderful guest returning to the Corona year after year. Its amazing to see the little ones growing up and we just think it great that they have such happy memories about the hotel.
We look forward to seeing you sometime later this year and eager to see how much the little one has grown.Oh, you will have to look at the photos of Reece our new little king charles, he is so funny.
Many thanks to you both and for all your exciting reviews over the years.

Once again 42 of us had a great time at the Corona Hotel, you just couldn't wish for more.
Wonderful Hosts and Staff, fabulous food, excellent entertainment a real good time to remember. Each year the Tinsel and Turkey gets better, the decorations this year are really magical it is like being in Santa's Grotto. Even Cinderella visited us this year Richard looked really beautiful and he entertained us all with his dancing. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.
Thankyou to Paul, Richard, Mavis, Rachel, Amber, Tandi, Sarah, James and Ben you did
us proud.

See you soon, 5 weeks to be exact.

Love From Carol Michael and the Gang.xx

It's always a great weekend when you arrive with the group, and we look forward to opening our doors to you on a yearly basis. We look forward to seeing you all again in November and will be well rested for the party nights you have organised, fun fun fun all the way.
Of course we will see you several times with Michael before then. But we both have to say a big huge thank you for supporting our business for the past 8 years from our small beginnings to our well respected and highly sought after hotel.
Thank you to you both.

“A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY - THANKS!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

My partner and I recently stayed at the Corona during a short break along with my parents in October. I was a little bit anxious about my stay in Blackpool at first as everybody kept telling me that Blackpool had the 'tack' factor and I wouldn't like it - which also made me dread what the accommodation would be like.

On arrival Paul checked us in and made us feel very welcome. We were assisted with our luggage and showed to our room, which although one of the smaller rooms was perfectly adequate, very clean, well decorated and comfortable.

I am a very fussy eater, as well as being vegetarian and wheat intolerant and I was dreading meal times. However nothing seemed to be to much trouble, Richard cooked a special course for me every evening and always checked with me the day before as to what I would like to eat .I wasn't made to feel awkward as I have done in the past elsewhere.

The location of this hotel is ideal as it is not right on the Blackpool front, so there were no issues with noise. There was plenty of parking. About 3 min walk from the beach front and a pleasant 45 minute walk along the front to the Blackpool Tower, Madame Tussuad's, Blackpool Dungeons and Town Centre. The Pleasure beach was only 10 min walk from the hotel and we had a really good day out there. I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning runs along the front knowing I would come back to enjoy a nice breakfast!

The whole customer experience/ service was exceptional and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Although Blackpool does have some elements of 'tack' to it, we all had a fun and enjoyable time.

I would definitely return to this hotel in the future and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others.

Many Thanks to Paul and Richard, you have changed my opinion of Blackpool and run a lovely hotel. Katherine Wheeler and Alec Baldy (Westbury Wilts)

Spent two nights at the Corona to see the lights and the pleasure beach. Great location with pleasure beach at the end of the road and the start of the lights round the corner. Also in a really quiet location so you know you'll get a good night's sleep.
Room smaller than expected but comfortable with good range of products in bathroom.
breakfast over cook first morning, a lot better the second
Owners very attentive
A little trouble parking car as only able to open one door to get in and out, had to unload car before parking the climb over passenger seat in morning
