Made a last minute decision to visit Blackpools' Illuminations, and stumbled upon the Lexham Hotel. Reasonable rates, excellent breakfast and a really helpful owner (thanks Carol). Room was spacious and very clean. Shame we couldn't stay a little longer, my daughter is already looking forward to our next visit....

Very dissapointed, room was not a clean as would be expected hairs all over room floor service was good but at time very abrupt, travelled with a young 3week old baby luckly we took our own babies moses basket as i would have not been able to let my baby sleep in there cot, no draft beer was just cans and was told breakfast was at 9am onwards we recieved a knock on the door at 9.15am by the owner with a stinking attitude asking why we was not down at 9am for breakfast

After a VERY long journey, we had an excellent welcome and were directed to our room.
Five of us stayed in the same room - which was great of them to accomodate us BUT i think that it was a bit pricey considering we were all sharing the one room.
Car was safe where we left it - which is a little way from the hotel.
Room was fine, clean and bed were comfy enough.
Close enough that we could walk to bars and things but no so close that there was any noise.
A decent choice at breakfast.
We stayed for my hen do.
