“what year is it?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

after visiting blackpool a few times we decided to go for a night away, none of the hotels we have stayed in before were available so due to the good reviews on this hotel we opted for this one.

first of all the rooms in this hotel cant have been updated since the 70's showering in the dark is interesting as the shower is sectioned off in the bathroom in a way that there is no light to it, the bathroom is very old and dingy. the room certainly hadnt been hoovered for a while as there was crumbs and dirt everywhere. beds were poor, like camp beds.

Also be aware this hotel doesnt have a bar, at all!!! you are advised to go to the hotels next door if you want a drink.

Stayed in better hotels for less money in blackpool wouldnt recommend this hotel its way to expensive for what it is!

The Bromley Hotel changed hands in February 2012. We are sorry the hotel did not meet your expectations. We would like to assure all future guests that standards are being improved and we are currently undertaking a full programme of renovation works. In the meantime, some of the rooms may be a little dated, but be assured they will be very clean. The rooms that have been completed are of an extremely high standard (including installing brand new en-suite shower rooms) and include flat screen tv/dvd, i-pod alarm docking stations and free wi-fi in all rooms. We are also in the process of installing a bar and lounge area for the use of our guests with fantastic views of the Irish Sea and Blackpool's famous North Pier.

“Friendly Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We visit Blackpool several times a year and we try and visit different hotels to find one which we all like. Well we have just found it. We are a small family and are on a tight budget so we choose blackpool for its price. Doreen and Brian made us feel very welcome and allowed us to leave our car parked up on our day of departure saving us a parking fee. Little things like this help and are very appreciated.
Food was great and the rooms are clean and addequately furnished. The Hotel is ideally situated for the north pier area of blackpool and is opposite a tram stop. We will be visiting again during the illuminations.

“Excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

We as a same sex couple found the hotel ideal for the gay scene in Blackpool the breakfast was more than adequate the room was clean and the landlady runs her hotel efficiently the wifi is such a bonus as we often have to pay extra for this facility the Park inn Palace in Southend charged us £7.50 ! so its great to get it free at the Bromley well done Brian and Doreen you are giving customers what they need including free parking ! we will definitely be back !

Room Tip: pick the premier suite !!!!

“Family holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

We stayed at The Bromley Hotel during the school holidays, what can I say, the service we received was second to none. Nothing was a problem for Doreen and Brian. They were very friendly and polite. The room was spacious enough to accommodate us all without us getting under each others feet. Having a family room gave us the advantage of having a bath in our bathroom, great when travelling with children. We would definitely recommend the Bromley to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Blackpool

Room Tip: Ask for a family room, great for young children
