We have just arrived back after spending Christmas here,I can't praise the hotel and all the staff enough,such a friendly welcome,nothing too much trouble ,staff always around if you need anything,great value for money! always plenty of food which was absolutely delicious,excellent buffets over the festive period as well,excellent entertainment,didn't need to leave the hotel as there was always something going on! Our thanks go out to all the staff that made our stay most enjoyable...Bobby,Linda,Sharon,Daniel the waiter was great with our daughter.Rooms were also great sizes with plenty of room in them all,such a shame we had to leave! I would quite happily have stayed.We will be returning to the Colonial without hesitation.Thank you all xxx

Brilliant value for money. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The location was great in the centre with sea views. Honestly couldn't of picked a better hotel for the money. Definately would recommend this hotel.

Considering what We paid for this hotel .Extremely good value for money.I stayed at the Colonial hotel for 4 nights last week with my mum and daughter and was so pleasantly surprised.You can imagine what We were expecting after reading some very poor reviews that quite frankly were unfair and unfounded.Yes the carpets were a little shabby however the standard of service and our over all experience definetly out weighed this.The hotel staff were extremely child friendly and very efficent..After many years of visiting Blackpool and staying in some REALLY poor hotels,I and my mum would have no hesitation in returning to this fantastic establishment..
