“Lovely hotel lovely owners x”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

We stayed for 6 nights one which included our wedding anniversary and Hubbys birthday and had a fantastic time !! Paul even had a candle in his sausage at breakfast lol and for the last 15 yrs he's never been wished happy birthday by the owners let alone be sang to by Barry !!!! The owners are very friendly as so was the guests at the hotel ... The room was lovely ! Plenty of tea coffee and rooms made each day ( with clean sheets which is a must during any stay ) breakfast is perfect and sets you up for the day ! In all the 15 years of going to Blackpool we have never been back to the same hotel ... But this time we will be booking room 15 as its bigger and will hold all our shopping hey Barry ! Thanks to Barry and Andrea for making us welcome .... Will be booking next year soon xxxxxxc

“You made my Birthday so so special”

Thank you for a Wonderful weekend. Your hospitality is second to none. Dom thoroughly enjoyed himself and just loved Barry's magic tricks. Andrea even got me on the Karaoke!!!!. All the Birthday treats were fantastic and made my Birthday weekend EXTRA special. The Only downside was the fact we had to leave and our visit was too short. Thank you Barry and Andrea for a fantastic time. We will be back but for longer next time!!

Dear Julie, Jerry & Dom

We are so pleased that we were able to make your stay such an enjoyable and memorable one. Its great to know that you had such a brilliant time that you've already booked for next year! How many more tricks will Barry have learned by then?! How many girlfriends will Dom have by then?!
I guess we'll just have to wait.

Thanks so much for posting a review it is very much valued and appreciated. See you in October.
Take care
Andrea & Barry

“Great family friendly B&B”

Just got back from a 3 night stay with 2 young children and their grandparents and had a great time. Barry and Andrea really are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms had everything you need for a short stay, everywhere is very clean, the bar is great to come back to in an evening, and having lots of toys around to entertain the kids is also a plus point. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order and the free parking was another bonus! Thanks Barry and Andrea for a great stay and hope to see you again, Claire, Ewan and Jessica (and grandma and grandad!)

Dear Claire, Smiley Ewan & Jessica

It was a pleasure to meet you all. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay at our child friendly B&B. We believe if the children (& Grandads) are occupied & happy, parents can chill out and relax after a fun filled day at one of Blackpools many attractions.
All our guests appreciate the free secure parking, it really is a bonus here in Blackpool.

Thank you for your positive feedback and we look forward to welcoming you and your family again.

Take care and best wishes
Andrea & Barry

“Family Break”

Recently returned from a 4 night stop at The Hurstmere. It was our 1st trip with our 9 month old daughter and we had a great time. Barry and Andrea made us all feel so welcome and at home. The rooms had everything we needed and were very clean and the breakfast was lovely and fresh and Erin loved the baby cereals. Lots of tips about places to visit with the baby and assistance with the bags and pram etc. They really could not do enough. The bar was comfy and had lots of toys for children, it felt very homely.
We will definitely be back!

Dear Anna, Ian & Erin (of course)
Thanks so much for your very kind review. We really value feedback from young families such as yourselves. We are happy to provide things like Travel cots, warmers etc so you have a few less things to worry about (and more space in the car for shopping of course!)
We already miss Erin and her special waving and look forward to seeing you next year.
Dont forget to book early to reserve rooms on a lower floor.

Take care and see you next year.

Andrea & Barry.
