“Excellent Hotel, an absolute must.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

I stayed at this hotel on the 14th September and what a lovely time we had!!
We booked an executive room and the minute we walked into the hotel we was immediately made to feel at home and welcomed.

Kate the owener is lovely and nothing was too much trouble, as where all the staff at the hotel

The hotel is to a very high standard and just off south shore so nimutes away from the pleasure beach and 5 minutes in a taxi or tram up to the centre.

If you are looking for a relaxing yet high standard of hotel with lovely service then this hotel is a must!!

I will definately be staying here again!!

Rebecca, Preston

“Great hotel, great owner, really looked after us”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

We stayed at the Feng Shui Hotel just for one night and Kate really looked after me, my husband and 3 children.

We stayed in this hotel as I am interested in Feng Shui and it really opened my eyes to new things.

We had 2 rooms between 5 of us and they were both very clean and felt lovely and relaxing. Kate couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and happy and we will definitely go again next time we go to Blackpool.

“One of the best weekends ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2011

My partner & me stayed at the Feng Shui Hotel in Blackpool on 9th to 10th July 2011. I had read the reviews of previous guests who said what a great time they had had & I was not dissapointed. Kate is so friendly & welcoming she makes you feel at home & at ease. The room was wonderful even though the bathroom was part of the bedroom it somehow worked & the bed was very comfy indeed.
After we checked into our room we took a stroll down the front which only took about 10-15mins to get to the south pier. We then took the tram to the central pier & took a nice walk back to the hotel after sampling some of the bars. We had intended to go back get changed & go out for the evening however we ended up staing at the hotel with Kate and had a good old laugh just the 3 of us. We eneded up getting an indian which was a reccomendation of Kate's & it was really nice.
On the Sunday i took advantage and had a hot stone massage which Kate performed & it was just what the doctor had ordered & was a very reasonable in price too.
All in all we had a fantastic weekend & would like to say thank you Kate for making it that extra bit special.
(P.S. there isn't much space when it comes to parking but this is down to the big hotel next door who have their own car park to the rear but guests choose to take up the spaces at the front this is in no way Kate's fault)

Room Tip: We choose the executive en suit which was not see view but had we asked at time of booking Kate woul...

“Charming hotel in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2011

My fiance and I stayed here for one night in April. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel after paying such cost effective rates for a double room.

The hotel itself is a large Victorian townhouse (not sure if that's correct but think I have the period right!) and inside it is decorated in a neutral style. The rooms are functional and our bed was very comfy. The breakfast was quite limited but the bar area was very nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Parking isn't that great - there is off road parking on the main road which is pay and display.

Overall I would stay here again, we enjoyed our stay.

“Totally unexpected for Blackpool!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 May 2011

Having stayed in Blackpool before experiencing the norm staying at the feng shui was to be completely different.

From the moment I stepped in Kate (the owner) gave me with the warmest of welcomes. Spacious reception with a large lounge bar giving me all the information I could need including the places to and not to visit.

Evening meals were offered with no pressure I was even offered a packed lunch!

Kate took me to my spacious light and airy room showing me how everything worked. Tea coffee and biscuits were provided.

The room was very clean with plenty of room to stretch out.

The feng shui offers a large array of treatments of which I thoroughly recommend.

My nights sleep was uninterrupted, the bed was very comfortable.

My breakfast was tremendous with a full compliment of cereals mackerel kippers along with muffins croissants and toast.

After breakfast I had a delightful shower which incorporates a jacuzzi system to envigorate you.

Check out was 1030 although I could negotiate a later exit.

Thank you Kate for a most wonderful stay! I will be back!!

It's such a shame that Kate is having to sell the feng shui this year owing to her families I'll health.
