Stayed at this hotel for one night.

Hotel staff very friendly - but that is the end of the good news!

First room offered was shoe box size - had to move the chair to get to the wardrobe door. One window with no curtains, radiator didn't work, room overlooked back yard, shower/toilet miniscule, distinct feel of deprivation.

Asked to move rooms and 2nd was marginally better. Overlooked front of hotel and was warmer, although when stood in shower cubicle it was impossible not to get wrapped in shower curtain and water only ran warm for a few minutes.

B'fast was strictly 09:00 - 09:30 and was of cheapest ingredients imaginable - fried bread had distinct aroma of rancid oil and was swimming in it!!!

We will never return! enter at your peril!!!!!!

Stayed here in June 2007 as part of a large group for a football tournament. Our room was clean - but the tv didn't work nor did the lights above our bed so when you switched the main light off you had to make your way back in the dark to your bed.

Some of our group had problems with the showers - red hot and didn't seem to have any thermostate control.

The room was clean and the food was nice too - but you didn't get enough - you couldn't go back for second helpings and as soon as breakfast had finished any leftovers were taken into the back for staff to eat.

The rooms could do with being redecorated as well.

The hotel owners were friendly and helpful. We were here for 2 nights and that was enough - I wouldn't have wanted to stay for any more nights .

Stayed here in March 2006 for a stag weekend with 12 other guys!!! Suited the purpose of our trip!!! A fair distance from the hustle and bustle of the town centre though...taxi into town will set you back about £6 at the most!!! Rooms were what you'd expect for £25 a night B&B...ours was warm on the first night then strangely cold on the second and third nights even though the radiator was on!!! Breakfast...decent enough...though is only served from 9:30-10am!!! Hotel staff put on a karaoke for us on the Sunday night...and to be fair couldn't have done any more for us!!!
