“Best place to stay in Blackpool !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2011

This was my third visit to this Excellent guest house, the welcome is always great and nothing is too much trouble
The owners Gordon and Vicky are always very pleasant and helpfull, and on all 3 visits i have had the fortune to stay in room 7 which is front facing and has semi sea views and overlooks Gynn Squre.
The area is very quiet , ideal for a good nights sleep and the rooms are spotlessly clean with linen change daily.
Breakfast is excellent extra toast tea and coffee always on hand , so much so that i never needed to eat again until my evening meal around 6

“Best place to stay in Blackpool”

This is the fifth year running I have stayed at the Braeside. This is a small, cosy guesthouse, which is spotlessly clean and in the perfect location - 2 minutes walk from the beach and overlooking Gynn Square. Breakfast is very good and the guest house represents excellent value for money - in fact I don't know how Gordon and Vicky are able to offer such excellent value.

The guesthouse advertises itself as "dog friendly." In fact, it is the dog friedliest place I have ever stayed. Every time my dogs venture out of our room Gordon and Vicky make a great fuss of them. As a dog owner they put me completely at ease - the dogs are not just tolerated, but actively welcomed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Blackpool. If you are travelling with dogs this is the place to come.

No hens or stags but for four reunited friends average age 60 this well positioned gem was a top value choice . Comfy clean rooms, attentive owners , great breakfasts, super lounge . Puzzle ? Odour of doughnuts on the air outside. Pleasant enough even if your name isn't Homer .
