“Good Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2009

Stayed at the Sandringham Court Hotel for one night with my wife and 2yr old granddaughter and brother in law and sister in law and there 2 girls. The Hotel was perfect good value for money.
We had 2 family rooms the cost was £28.00 per Adult, and £14.00 each for the 2 girls my granddaughter was free because she is only 2yr old.
The breakfast was very good. the prices at the bar were very reasonable too a lot cheaper than i expected.
If I go back to Blackpool again I wil definitely stay here again.

Myself, hubby and our 3 year old recently stayed at the Sandringham Court, we go to blackpool every year and usually stay in the Gynn Square area, this year however, we were joing my In-laws along with their coach party at the hotel and every member of staff made us feel more than welcome, the food was what I call proper home-made and very tasty ( my 3 year old loved it) and the rooms (although basic) clean and comfortable we had all that we needed, the level of service was very good abd we will definately be returning.

My only point would be to give the entrance a good brush up (to be honest I am very fussy)

we booked a weekend away in the sandringham court hotel, due to its location
and good food.On our arrival,we met the owner,John who gave us our key and instructed us when breakfast and dinner was.he was not very welcoming,in fact it felt as if you were intruding,we were not directed to our rooms,we had to find our own way.Our room was small and in poor repair, the tv was at least 10 years old, however it had an ok picture once I tuned it in!.the decor was outdated and the carpet was was smelly,I had to go and buy fabreeze!!.The bed was clean, but uncomfortable. At breakfast the next day,all the girls who work in the dining room are polite, and helpful, with the exception of a girl with curly hair, who orders the other waitresses about!!.The food was good and very tasty, which was about the only good point about the hotel. On packing up to leave on sunday,I had to ring and asked the owner if he could open the bar,so I could go out the back doors to get to the carpark to pack my car, although I had come In that way 3 days eartlier,I was abruptly told that that was not the way,and that I had to go through the dining room, however I had to wait, and wait till breakfast was finished,,He was very abrupt and quite obtuse!! It felt that because I had disturbed him,he was not going to go out of his way to help me.
In all it was an appauling atmosphere to live in,not to mention the state of the rooms, basic does not even cover it!!
I notice that since checking the hotel last there has been alot of favourable reviews submitted, however if thinking of staying in blackpool,DO NOT stay here, the owner just does not want you there.

“Food and Friendly Service Second to None.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2009

I have been to stay at the Sandringham Court Hotel twice in the last two years and am currently organising and booking two more visits. John and Carron run a warm friendly Hotel and will do all they can to make your stay perfect. The food is absolutely first class. We have had DBB and lunch on both our visits and have no complaints whatsoever. The rooms are clean and adequate with all necessary amenities. Not the Ritz but then nor are the competative prices. A great stay and going again.
