“Dirty Dirty Dirty”

where do i start. the people on the reception were rude. the hotel itself looked like something decorated (and not cleaned since) the 70s. there was a dog running round the bar which did a poo on the carpet and it was uncleaned. rooms were cold and damp. no hot water for showers. tv's did not work. dirty underwear was found in the drawers (yes, really). all the furniture was broken. actually you were lucky if you even got furniture. breakfast was rank. only saving grace was the sheets were clean.

Room Tip: book one in another hotel

“crackin hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

me my daughter and sister stayed here for one night back end of last year, we were the only guests here as the hotel owners should have been away on hols, we had evening meal, bed and breakfast, the food was brilliant, the bar prices where extremely cheap, and the owners where really nice, will stay here again, the room was ample for sleeping and getting ready in.

Room Tip: we had the room right on the front

“not going again”

where do i start.. on arrival i went in and was given the key to one room then to be told he had given me the wrong room, so i was given an other key and was told were the room was and that was it. we found the room. every door banged. the room was very small had a week old paper in the wardrobe and a broken t.v set. the draws were hanging off and damp patch in the top corner. we had to ask when breakfast was and where. went out for food and a drink and came back for a drink in the bar at 11.30 and it was closed even though it should have been open till 12. we went up to make a coffee the cups were rotten and the milk was off. the bed was so bad the spring were shot and couldn't sleep in it. we decided not to stay for breakfast and left at 1am, if we had stayed i didn't think we would have been able to walk as the bed was that bad. there was no one to complain to as it was all in darkness and deserted.

well where do i start i did give them the wrong key 34 instead of 33 i put my glasses on and realised the mistake, they did not move away from the reception desk at any time, they came in early in the night as the weather was foul, i saw them come in along time before 11.00pm they checked in at 1.30pm, and did not report the milk was off ive been up and indeed two pots out of 9 are out of date, the top draw was off its runners, the paper in the wardrobe and the tv hurting nobody no germs on them no scary bangs from them also they were removed as we have been updating all tv sets in the hotel of late easy put back on, bed ok for me and i have a bad back, laid and watched the 1 oclock news on it today no scary door bangs (???) i closed the bar , as i do the bar at 11.45 it took me a full 30 mins to lock up the bar the reception area the dining room the pool room at no time did this couple appear on the scene think the title of there profile a cheeky few defines them i(drink?) the damp patch is a shadow that runs down the wall, it is a small room but its for one night it its not a garden shed suggest they stop watching the hotel inspecter and get a life ,really wrong key , fixed in secs, milk 2 out of 9 paper in wardrobe please tv in there again we charge £25 per night it is not the ritz and out of 600+ people staying this year this is the first bad review we have had, about scary doors that bang in the night a week old paper and me who forgot where his glasses was and could not make out 33 and 34 , lock me up now

sorry if you thought that the cups in the rooms were not up to your standard and the breakfast was not very nice ( it took. 4 months for you to report this ) but we only had 1 complaint about breakfasts last years and that is yours, we are not happy about this , but 1 breakfast in 1253 people staying aint bad .

“Good Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2009

Stayed at the Sandringham Court Hotel for one night with my wife and 2yr old granddaughter and brother in law and sister in law and there 2 girls. The Hotel was perfect good value for money.
We had 2 family rooms the cost was £28.00 per Adult, and £14.00 each for the 2 girls my granddaughter was free because she is only 2yr old.
The breakfast was very good. the prices at the bar were very reasonable too a lot cheaper than i expected.
If I go back to Blackpool again I wil definitely stay here again.
