We stayed here as a stopover and found it to be great value at GPB40 for a double room and shared bathroom. The room was small but clean and sufficient. The bathroom was a bit messy (can't always be helped when sharing) However, the shower was freezing cold so didn't get a shower. The breakfast was ok- continental options very limited but cooked breakfast very nice. Hosts were lovely. Would stay again as a stopover.

This was our second visit to the Chelston Hotel and we will always book with them in the future. The hotel is clean to a high standard and Allun and Sue go out their way to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is fantastic and really keeps you going throughout the day. We had our 1 year old son with us and the travel cot and highchair provided was greatly appreciated. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to holiday in Blackpool.

I`ve stopped at the chelston hotel before a couple of years ago, and i was there again for 3 nights last week (on june 25th 2009) and can highly recommend this hotel.
Spot on for cleanliness, excellent value for money, and alan`s english breakfasts are delicious.
The hotel is about 10/15 mins walk (inland) away from central peir, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
Alan & Sue are wonderfull hosts too, they always find time to answer your questions, or to just have a natter to.
I don`t know when my next trip to blackpool will be, but when i do decide to go i know i will definately be staying at the Chelston Hotel.

All i can say allun and sue made us feel at home ,the hotel was very clean and everything we needed was at hand ,we intend to go to blackpool every year if we can and there is only one place we would stay.
The hotel is close to the shops and the prom and only 5 minutes from the fun fair and train station
