“Great Hosts, Great Bed and Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

I stayed at the Arthington for 4 nights whilst visiting Blackpool on business. Rather than booking a major hotel, after reading the reviews for the Arthington, I decided to book the single room and I was not disapointed.
The bed was a 4 foot bed, which was great for a single.
The room was spotless and the little luxuries in the bathroom etc are as expected of a 5 star hotel never mind a B and B.
The hosts are very friendly and I enjoyed a bit of banter with steve in the bar in the evenings. You have to try the "magic" Guiness by the way!!!
I ate in the 4 evenings and was not disapointed by the standard of food.
In the morings I had to leave before normal breakfast time but Steve was very accommodating and arranged a breakfast to go which suited me fine.
Highly recommended.
For a bed and breakfast in Blackpool, you wont find better

Room Tip: If you want a bit of luxury,go for the king size double. Its better than a 5 star hotel

“Lovely stay!!!”

We stayed here for 3 nights in September for my birthday. We had a lovely stay, we ate in one night and the food was excellent. When we ate out Steve and Elaine told us the best places to go, offered to book a table for us and booked a taxi. We stayed in the superking room and it was awesome! The bed was sooo comfy and the room was very spacious. On the morning of my birthday I found a balloon, card and chocolates from Steve and Elaine when we went down to breakfast, this was a really lovely and thoughtful surprise! Breakfast is yummy and there is lots of it so you won't go hungry! I especially liked the Arthington Snowfall. Overall this is a fantastic B&B and I would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: The superking is well worth the money!

“A fabulous stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

After reading the reviews on here The Arthington had a lot to live up to and boy did it!! As you walk in the decor is tasteful and stylish, we were welcomed by Steve who was very charismatic and then his lovely wife Elaine not forgetting Tanya their lovely old English sheepdog. We were shown to our room and were very impressed - it looks so much bigger than the photo on their website - during our stay Steve and Elaine could not do enough for us - from ordering taxis, and booking tables to serving one of the best breakfasts ever - such a selection and perfectly cooked by Elaine but it's all in the delivery eh Steve ;oD

Honestly if you are thinking of going to Blackpool do yourself a favour and book a room at The Arthington - you will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Superking On-Suite - it's the size of two rooms to be honest! It's facing...

“First Class Accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

Had two nights last weekend at the Arthington and we have to say it was fantastic. Steve and Elaine (and the dog -Tanya!!!) are really welcoming with Tea on arrival. The place is absolutely spotless with all the amenities you would expect from a Four Star Visit Guest House. The room was great and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
The next time we go to Blackpool this is where we will stay.
Thanks again for a great stay.
