“lovely break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

we stayed with two of our friends on Friday 3rd Feb to Sun 5th feb. Lovely room, room 326, food was very good ,plenty of choice for evening meal and breakfast was self service as much as you wanted, all good quality food. we had a 7 course meal on our last night!
Entertainment was really good , particularly Elvis tribute and Michael Buble tribute. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and it was a nice surprise when the barman fetched a bottle and 4 glasses to our table on the house!, very nice hotel good staff and we would certainly go again. We even had a portable radiator in our room as well as the wall ones, lovely and warm for a feb break,

Room Tip: room 326 and 312 were very good both sea views

“Nice winter break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Stayed Mon- Fri (30Jan-3rd Feb 2012)
Had a lovely break with my 85 year old mother. The food was great with a good choice of menu.
Our room was clean, the bathroom was a good size with nice decor. We were even supplied with an extra heater for the room as mother felt chilly but i felt the room was warm enough.
All the staff were helpfull and polite. This was our first visit to this hotel but we would use it again. The evening entertainment was very good and we enjoyed it.
The hotel is very near to the north pier and the trams and bus run passed the door so easy to get to fleetwood or up to south shore or just a lift back after shopping as the shops are not to far away or the theatres.
when we stayed the hotel ran a free bus trip to fleetwood and cleavleys on a tuesday but you have to put your name down early as places are limited, but we had a nice day out.
The only thing i felt was needed was heating in the bathroom, as a bit chilly, but this was a winter break, even a heated towel rail would have been nice, but overall a great break.

“Poor start but good finish.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We visited Tiffany's this weekend 27th to 29th January 2012 in order to watch a show at the Grand Theatre. On arrival we were booked into room 105. The instant we opened the door of our room my wife commented on the overpowering odour of urine in the room. At first I did not smell this as some room freshener spray hed been used in the room. My wife went down to reception to complain, and I stayed in the room. The longer I stayed in the room the stench of urine became more and more obvious. Reception told my wife to go back to the room and she would send the housekeeper to sort out the problem, but my wife asked for a room transfer, but the receptioist again asked my wife to return to the room and the housekeeper would be sent immediately to sort out rhe problem. After waiting for more than 10 minutes the housekeeper had not arrived, and so I accompanied my wife to reception where we asked to be given a different room. This request was acceeded to and we were given the keys to room 326. This was as different to room 105 as you could get. It appeared to be one of the more modern rooms and was very acceptable. After this poor start the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. The food was very good and the dining room was very nice. The bar and cabaret lounge was also very nice and the entertainment was very good. The staff in the dining room couldn't have been more helpful, and were very pleasant. So after a very poor start it became a very enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Check out the rooms and if not acceptable ask for a transfer. But beware room 105.

“Poor service new year”

Stayedwith family for weekend break (13th -16th Jan).Very dissapointed with the treatment by reception staff. There was no interest in us we were not greeted with anything on arrival given no information on meal times, where the dining room or bar was not even told how to get to our room. Reception staff very unfriendly didn't get any courtesy good morning and when we checked out the receptionist said nothing which i found very rude. The food was just warm and although the staff in the restaurant did their best there was only 2 to serve everyone and on the last night no choice at all for dinner. The rooms were comfortable and had had been refurbished. The bar man (Paul) was very friendly (Thank you Paul) perhaps he should give the reception staff some training!! Entertainment good. Have been twice before but would not go again.

Dear Guests,

I was sorry to have read your comments on your recent stay with us regarding the Reception Staff.
I do not normally get such comments about the girls being unfriendly.
I will print out your review and speak to the team to ensure this does not happen again in the future.
I do hope that you will return to us again in the future. I normally would have been there to have spoken to you but i took a few days holiday.
If you return to us again in the future, please call me and let me know you are coming and I wil supervise your stay with us.

Kind regards,

Dear Guest,

i was surprized to read your comments about your New Years Break with us. We have had the same amount of cabaret this year as we have for the past few years with a variety of acts such as comedy, dancers, cabaret artists etc. On New Years Eve we had a Piper piping in the Haggis and a lovely 5 course candle lit dinner, which i had many compliments about. I do hope you visit us again in the future.

Kindest regards,
