Just had a four night Christmas house party at The Raffles hotel. Well what can I say except wow I must of put on a stone in weight due to the amazing amount of food on offer from the Xmas eve roast beef dinner to the 7 course gala Xmas day feast and late night buffets. We was treated to a panto trip and on house fun and games on other nights, this being my second stay at raffles I was glad to see the standards have not dropped , rooms spotless and the attention to detail in the Christmas decorations would not go a miss in Londons west end stores. A special mention has to go to the full English breakfast served each morning. Thanks Raffles you made my Christmas, hope to return again for the illuminations in September.

This place is fantastic, from the bedrooms, the people, the welcome to the price. The place is warm, clean, very welcomming, offering maps, travel guides, delicious food and quite frankly the most unforgettable breakfasts one could imagine. There is a tea-room that is very inviting with great food and service. This is a 5 star place with 5 star service.

Stayed in one of the suites and the one big advantage was the extra room it offers if you have young family.

Pretty much standard Blackpool accommodation, possibly slightly on the updated side.
Main reason I've only give this a 3 was due to the cost. For £110 we have stayed in some excellent hotels/lodges and I can't really class this as good as them (that is probably down to Blackpool itself rather than the hotel or its owners).

In summary if you decide to go to Blackpool then this place has decent location and is friendly enough.
My advice would be to give Blackpool a miss though and try somewhere else!

Brilliant place to stay so friendly and clean as for the breakfast wow never had one so good anywhere before. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and they made you very welcome. You must ask about Stanley the gull !!!! during your stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, you wil lnot be disappointed. Enjoy.
