Just returned from break at The Ramsey.

If anything other than minute faults can be found with this accomodation ( at such reasonable cost). I suggest you should stay at home................

It's easy to criticise a hotel, and The Ramsay is no different — there were some shortcomings, but the only serious criticism was that I was unable to connect to the promised free WiFi network. Also, the showers and hot water left a little to be desired, but the TV was good, the communal areas lovely, the staff very friendly, Good Full English breakfast (I didn't try the evening meal) and the lift was very useful.

My friend and I decided to book a weekend away in Blackpool without the kids. Found the hotel on the Internet and can honestly say that we are so glad we booked it. Such a lovely greeting received and the staff at breakfast were very pleasant too. In a rush I forgot my hairdryer but I need not have worried as a hairdryer was given to me by the manager to borrow. Hotel was very clean and lovely and quiet. Would most definitely come back again even with the children as this is a perfect place for anyone looking for a nice quiet and welcoming hotel.

We booked this lovely hotel over the internet and from the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The rooms were lovely and clean with nice touches such as the towels neatly folded at the end of the beds each day.
The bar was well stocked with beautiful leather sofas next to the window and also there is a lounge with a nice big tv and again comfortable sofas.
The light and airy conservatory was a pleasure to sit in and read the morning papers or just simply look out of the window and watch the world go by.
The location of this hotel is just right - away from the hustle and bustle of the town - but there is a tram and a bus stop directly outside anyway so easy to get into Blackpool.
The breakfasts were really nice and cooked to perfection !
The owners of The Ramsey Hotel have only been running it for around 18 months and have to be congratulated on doing an excellent job !
We will be back next Spring - Thank you for an enjoyable stay !
