Just returned from a 2 night break at the Cliffs. It was our first time staying there & i can say it was brilliant!!!!! The hotel was warm, clean & comfortable. the food was really good & there was something for everyone on a varied menu. The rooms were clean & comfy. The staff were all helpful & pleasant. good value for money. Will certainly stay again. thank you all the staff at the cliffs for a wonderful stay.

We have stayed at the Cliffs many times on both midweek and weekend breaks as a couple and have always been pleased with the accomodation and meals as the accomodation is always clean and comfortable if a little dated in places with a wonderful "art decor" staircase. We decided to treat our family (6 adults and 3 children aged 7 years, 23 months and 4 months) for my 65th birthday. Provision for the children, both their sleeping arrangements and meals were excellent. It's not often that you are asked when you want the child's meal to be served and it comes spot on time. The restaurant staff were very helpful as our table arrangement numbers were different on each of the 3 nights and everything was organised efficiently. Thankyou for a wonderful family break at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: If you don't want the noise from the evening entertainment ask for a quiet room.

Stayed Sunday to Friday and it was very good value. We have stayed at the Cliffs at least once a year for quite a few years now and had very few problems. We had room 318 and were very pleased, it was very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and service was efficient.
There is one complaint that I would like to make about the evening entertainment. There was one night when there was a comedian on stage and a young couple brought in their two young children and stayed all night, I don't think this should be allowed as it was very disruptive to the comedian.

Excellent stay - 5 nights for the price of 4 - Sunday to Friday - great value. Hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. The room was spacious - only downside was the mattress which was too soft. food was top class - excellent chef who really knows how to cook delicious food - first poached eggs we've had that were properly cooked - well done to chef!!! Very surprised they had decaff tea as well as coffee - waiter (Alan) was very helpful. Will definitely return. This is the first time we have tried the Blackpool hotels, usually go to the Lakes, but the location of the hotel meant that we were not in the centre and it was very pleasant around the area. Good transport links for taking in the surrounding area.

Room Tip: we were in room 127 and would ask for this again - quiet, warm, spacious, goodstandard of cleanlines...

“not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

stayed at the cliffs midweek for one night on dinner, bed breakfast booked the day before and paid £60 for my husband and myself. The hotel seemed very clean though rather dated, our room had an orange bathroom suite but all was fine. The food was ok and service was very efficent in the evening though would had to call waiter over twice at breakfast seemed to be forgotton. The entertainment was a comedian and a singer and all guests seemed to enjoy the acts. The bar could have done with more staff on quite afew people complaining and walking away. All in all would stay again but wouldnt rush back.
