Stopped with my partner for weekend. Couldn't fault it. Snug (what do you expect? the building was constructed this way) cosy rooms, very clean & comfortable. Everything you could need for a nice weekend away. Excellent hosts, polite, helpfull & chatty. Had 3 meals, all well cooked, quality & well presented. Breakfasts excellent, served at good (later) time, with familiar family enviroment. Couldn't ask for better service, very impressed, would (& have) recomend to anyone visiting Blackpool. Angie is charming, Alan excellent (for a lad from Tipton) cook! Thank you both for adding to a lovely weekend. [feel free to contact stephen.rohan@hotmail.co.uk]

Room Tip: We had room at top, 3 floors up, front, so lots of stairs (& no bat pole!) If you've got 8 k...

“not worth the money like first time we stayed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

we stayed here 3 years ago and paid £40 for "family room". double bed and single we had 3 children then. today theyve charged us £74 for the same room yet threw a travel cot in for our 1 yr old. ummn!! not impressed the room was small before, last night we couldnt move. it was NOT worth £74. however its clean , nice location, gud brekkie if your kids can wait till 845am to eat which we thought was a bit late as our are up at 6am and starving. alan is always approachable and talkative yet angie makes you feel like your always putting her out. we wont go again

Room Tip: very expensive but if you want the south end of blackpool and to walk to everything then its good

Thank you for your feedback; we take all criticism very seriously & we are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion. May I make it clear to all readers that the family had just one child with them on this visit along with a baby in a travel cot, hence the room allocated was one with one double & one single bed as described.

“PERFECT hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011

Our time at the wescoe hotel in blackpool was amazing, Angie and Allan are such lovely people welcomed us in the best way possible. Our room was the deluxe double room so we paid a bit more money for it but was totally worth it the room was beautiful included a beautiful shower room a mini fridge which had a bottle of sparkling wine two bottles of water & a jug of milk that was changed daily, the bed was very comfy had two lovely nights sleep in it we couldnt fault the breakfast was a lovely way too start the day.. my boyfriend proposed too me on the friday and angie and allan gave us a bottle of wine & a card in the morning at breakfast which was lovely. 10 out of 10 for this hotel was the perfect weekend in the perfect company, Angie and Allan made us feel very welcome and we will be booking up too go back as soon as possible. Thank you for a wonderful stay

“The Wescoe - A Hidden Gem: Great Room, Good Breakfast, Fantastic Hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011 via mobile

We have just had a lovely stay here at the Wescoe on Dean Street. Ideally placed for the south end of town and the Pleasure Beach. We stayed in the magnificent family room and couldn't fault it. Would love to stay again - although for longer next time. :-)
Thanks Angie & Allan for looking after us.
All't best,
Emma, Gavin and baby Lily.
