“Absolutely Fantastic :D”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Absolutely brilliant..! Right be the sea, fab location. Unfortunately when we went to Blackpool the weather let us down a bit, bit that didn't stop us having a great time. The Gynn pub just a stones throw away and in short walking distance of everything you could ever want to do :). Carol and Jeff the best B&B owners I have ever met. Nothing is to much trouble, the rooms are absolutely spotless and the cooked breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would recommend to anyone..!

“EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2010

Had a two night stay at South Lea and was very impressed, run by a lovely couple who nothing is to much trouble for. The accommadation is excellent and cannot be faulted and there are some lovely touches which make the stay so enjoyable only place I have stayed at where they leave extra hot drink supplies on the landing accessable to all.
Stayed in luxury room which is just thst with a lovely view out to see and two lovely placed armchairs to enable you to sit and look at view and enjoy a cuppa. Many thanks for a most enjoyable break will definately be returning

“another good time was had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2010

we stayed at the South Lea again but this time we took family members with us including our 5 year old neice, It was the first time our neice had seen the illuminations and she was suitably impressed, Carol and Jeff could'nt do enough for us all as usual. The welcome is second to none, Carol cooks a mean full English and jeff keeps a great bar. Looking forward to our next stay in March '11. Cheers all

“What more could you ask?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2010

We stayed for two nights in October 2010, arriving fairly late on a friday night; no problem for our flexible hosts! Our room was thoroughly clean and tidy & Carol even brought us up a steaming pot of tea to welcome us in.
In the morning we were greeted by a fantastic breakfast; oodles of tea, coffee, toast, muesli, orange juice, cereal and more toast! All was served by the charismatic Geoff who is pleased to provide you with any combination of cooked breakfast as long as it doesn't include poached eggs.
The hotel is located far enough away from the mayhem whilst being close enough to walk to the tram stop (2mins) or high street (20mins).
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable trip!
