Absolutely disgraceful from the second we walked in their manners welcoming skills disgusting. The Carlee is advertised on many tourist websites which they have chosen they take your deposit and booking email confirmation goes out booking successful.
And then when you arrive they refuse the booking and deny all knowledge of it. The two ladies are extremely rude not welcoming in the slightest, did not apologise for the mix up they had created with the websites they are choosing to advertise their hotel with. Did not offer any alternatives just sent you out the door down the street. “Try somewhere else down the street” was the only piece of ‘advice’ given.
So we had to find somewhere else through no fault of our own because they cannot advertise their hotel correctly and manage the bookings!!! Frankly they should not be managing a hotel on the bases that they can’t even manage the first step correctly. Total contradictions on their website and the tourist hotels websites!!!

Get ready to pay as soon as you arrive. I am not sure if this is a standard Blacpool policy or they have had guests that have done a runner.
Woke up in the morning with drips from the ceiling above dripping onto my arm and the bed. Allthough Landlady apologetic, I would have thought a bit of compensation wouldnt have gone amiss, and a fresh towel to replace the one I put on the bed to soak up the drips.
Room small and Breakfast average. Handy for parking though and 10 - 15 minute walk into town. Thought £60 a night was expensive.

Stayed at carlee for 2 nights.Very friendly and cosy.Good cooked breakfast .Good level parking and ground floor rooms .My disabled husband and elderly mother needed this and its very difficult to find a hotel/guest house with theses amenities.,in Blackpool, within our price range.Well worth a visit .Big thank you to the landlady for all her kindness and hospitality.

My fiance and i have just come back from our 2 night stay at the Carlee. It was a pleasure to stay there.
Heather gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived, she is very very friendly.
The room was basic but very clean and tidy, i am very picky on cleanliness and i had nothing to complain about, which is a first for me. We stayed on the ground floor in room 4 and the bed was very comfy.
The breakfast was brilliant, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, cooked brekki and toast, definetely set us up for the day.
I have stayed in plenty of b+bs in Blackpool and this is by far the best, it is excellent value for money, excellent service, nice rooms, off street parking and excellent location.
5 mins walk to the winter gardens, 10 mins into town and to the promanade.
Will definetely be visiting the Carlee again.
