Me and my partner stayed at the Kingsway Hotel in October 2011 for one night. We arrived and were greeted by the owners who were lovely. They made us feel very welcome. They showed us where we would be sitting for breakfast the following morning. Whilst my boyfriend checked in one of the owners took me to a shop around the corner where there were some parking spaces. I paid an extra £5 to have a parking space but my car seemed safe and we could use the space all day Saturday and Sunday (working out far cheaper than a public car park).
The room: Consisted of a double bed, a wardrobe, set of drawers, TV with Freeview, Tea and Coffee facilities and an en suite shower room. It wasn't the largest but was extremely clean and well worth the £65 we paid. We were hardly there anyway!
Breakfast: A lovely quaint dining room. Can start off with cereal but we dived straight into a full English breakfast (vegetarian available and this was asked at check-in so they knew in advance). Tea/coffee and orange juice was also served as well as a rack of toast. When we finished the toast we were asked if we wanted more! Breakfast was lovely.
Location: The hotel is right in the town centre (approx. 4 minute walk to the promenade by Coral Island arcade) but is set back so you don't hear much noise at all.
I would definitely stay at the Kingsway Hotel again and would recommend anyone to try it out!
